Smart Campaign Builder

Smart Campaign Builder lets you generate hundreds of rows of compliant campaign data in seconds. Rather than manually duplicating rows or selecting values one by one, you define the field values and variations you want, and Smart Campaign Builder builds every combination automatically -- producing correctly structured campaign names and IDs that conform to your taxonomy.

This feature is available to all Claravine customers on Premium plans. Customers with AI enabled on their account have access to an enhanced, AI-powered version with additional capabilities, described below.

Smart Campaign Builder 

To use the Smart Campaign Builder:

1. Click the +Add button for the template dataset where you want to create rows. Smart Campaign Builder works with any Claravine template you have access to.
    

2. Click the Generate button in the submission table. 

   
    

3. In the Smart Campaign Builder modal, you will see the fields from your template. 
   • Toggle a field on to include it in the variation.
   • List fields: Click + to select all available values, then click Add.
   • Text, Date, and Number fields: Click + to enter the values you want to use, then click Add.
   • Confirm your selections to generate all rows, click Build Variations
     
      
4. A sum of the total rows to be generated displays, this represents all combinations based on your entries. Click Continue with # rows of data to generate, or Back to edit or cancel your prompt. 
   
    

5. Your generated rows appear in the submission table with all field values pre-populated. Any fields that fail validation are flagged automatically — make any needed adjustments, then complete the remaining fields and submit.

   Important: Running Smart Campaign Builder again will replace all existing data in the current submission with newly generated data.

Smart Campaign Builder with AI

For customers with AI-enabled Smart Campaign Builder is enhanced with an AI layer that removes the need to manually define every value and combination yourself. Instead of selecting values field by field, you describe your campaign goal in natural language and the AI generates the full set of placement rows on your behalf.

What AI adds:

• Natural language input. Describe what you need in a prompt (e.g., campaign goals, channel mix, audience segments), and the AI interprets your intent and maps it to your template's taxonomy.
• Automated row generation. The AI generates up to 2,000 rows of data in seconds by combining list values from your defined taxonomy -- work that would otherwise take hours or days manually.
• Built-in validation. Before rows are committed, the AI validates the generated data against your template rules and surfaces any detected errors for you to review.
• Human-in-the-loop review. All AI-generated rows are presented in the Claravine UI for your review and approval before submission. You remain in control of what gets saved.
• Coming Soon: Media Plan Import. Rather than describing campaign parameters through a text prompt, a user uploads their plan and the AI reads the file's structure and values to automatically generate all corresponding rows of campaign and placement data, reducing the steps required to get from plan to compliant data. 

To use the Smart Campaign Builder with AI:

1. Click the +Add button for the template dataset where you want to create rows.
    
2. Click on the Generate [AI] button.
   
    
3. Enter an AI prompt describing the data you want to generate, or select one of the suggested prompts below, then click Generate. If you choose a suggested prompt, its content will populate in the prompt field where you can use it as is or modify it as needed.
   
   You can also select from the two most recent prompts used for this template. 
    
4. Review the results. If you're satisfied with the results, click Continue. 
   If the results are not what you expect and you want to alter the AI prompt, click Back to improve your AI prompt and regenerate.

Note: AI-powered Smart Campaign Builder requires the Claravine AI addendum. Contact your Claravine Customer Success Manager to enable AI on your account.
