View saved drafts of your submission work in the Drafts menu. Your personal drafts are shown in a green pill mceclip0.png and drafts that are shared with you show in a blue pill mceclip1.png. Members within a Group can share a submission draft; this is helpful if two members of a Group need to contribute metadata to complete a submission.

Open a Draft (Your Draft or a Shared Draft )

  1. Click Submissions in the navigation bar.

  2. Select the Pending tab. All Pending submissions will display, including your drafts.

  3. View all your drafts and other group members' drafts that have been shared with you.

  4. Click the draft to open the Create Submission table.

  5. Edit the data as needed.

  6. Click Submit.

Share Your Draft with a Group Member

Share an existing draft with users within your Group:

  1. Click Submissions in the navigation bar.

  2. Select the Pending tab.

  3. In the Drafts section, click Share Draft on the submission to be shared.

  4. Use the drop-down menu to select the users within your Group to share this draft.

  5. Click Share.

The user you shared this draft with will see the submission as a Shared Draft.

Working Together

If you share a draft with another user you can simultaneously be in the draft. If user 1 makes changes and saves the draft, user 2 will not be able to save or submit their view of the draft because it is out of date in their view. User 2 will see this error at the bottom of their screen:
